Hi there!

I'm Shannon and I am so glad you're here!  Photography became a passion of mine when my now fifteen year-old daughter, Lucie, was born. I could. not. stop. taking. pictures.  Lucie and I did photoshoots daily and I fell in love with the process of creating such meaningful art.  Light has always been my muse and it continues to play a prominent roll in my photographic style all these years later.  My images are bright, airy, raw, and filled with emotion.  I love how light can change the mood of my images, from warm, sunny, and playful to mysterious and intimate.

I now have four kids who are my world.  They are growing so fast and my sentimental heart aches as time seems to have a mission to pass more quickly every day.  As your photographer, it is very important to me that you know how seriously I take my job to slow down time for you and your family, to create something for you that depicts this moment in your life that you can never have back.  I have lived through a personal hell that filled me with a renewed passion for life and the meaningfulness of every single day we have with our loved ones.  You can read more on that on my blog.  What that means for you is that I have a fierce dedication to telling your family's story in all it's one-of-a-kind glory; the emotions, the connections, the traditions, and the love.  Every family is different.  The art that I create for you will be unique too. Every time you walk past your family portrait or flip through your album, you will be taken back to that moment in time and your heart will swell with peace and joy as you realize you were able to slow down that pesky clock.

I just love what I do!  Slowing down time for my clients gives me a sense of purpose and I am sincerely grateful for the opportunity to capture what is special about your family and create art in the process.

Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by and I hope to connect very soon.

XO,

Shannon
